I’ve already said it so often but I love their character development so much. Seriously, Jeff Davis did an A+ job here. In the gifs on the left side, Lydia doesn’t even want Stiles to touch her because 1) she doesn’t know him 2) she doesn’t even like him and 3) it’s a bit creepy somewhere. And in the gifs on the right side, she practically clings to Stiles because he’s her rock, he means safety to her. She knows he will protect her, no matter what happens, and she will do the same for him because he’s grown on her, and whether or not you see their love as a platonic or romantically one, they care about each other and it’s them against the world now. I love how Lydia’s gone from the girl who didn’t give a fuck about Stiles to the girl who cares so much about him. This is the one thing Jeff didn’t fuck up, and I’m grateful for that.
